Widely used as the standard upgrade from packing to mechanical seals, parallel spring seals are the mainstay for many industries.

Using a rubber diaphragm to seal against the shaft and provide drive to the face, they are suitable for use in applications such as water, food and chemical processing.

Designs are also available with a balanced configuration to reduce heat and friction, extending seal life.
