TFE/P (FEPM)

TFE/P (FEPM) Aflas®/Viton® Extreme® Tetrafluoroethylene and propylene (FEPM) is a copolymer with a fluorine content of approximately 54%.

FEPM is also ideal for media such as phosphate-esters, mineral oils, silicone oils, acids and bases, hot water and steam up to 170°C.

Aflas® is often preferred over FKM in steam and amine applications as it does not contain the VF2 monomer, the point of chemical attack. Viton® Extreme® offers superior ketone resistance than standard FKMs.
